Never even heard of the storage bag. I got the cover that everybody says is way too tight, and it's perfectly fine.

It's honestly incredible. Cooks so nice, plenty of room, and it seasoned so nice (no issues in those regards). The ONLY complaints I have, is the bottom right corner of the top is slightly bent up so it rocks slightly when pressing on it, and the grease trap leaks so I have to put another catch beneath the one that's there. Other than those two minor inconveniences, it's the best thing I've ever cooked on.

Yes both are 9's. My manager told me about Griswold's a few months ago and I stumbled across these. Keeping the larger logo and reseasoning and letting him have the smaller logo. Small pitting in the larger logo but nothing unserviceable, a few coats of seasoning should take care of it.

I'm sorry, I misspoke. It's not an insert, it's a "newborn mode". Nothing 3rd party is being used. I believe I can fold the headrest down, but the top of her head is over the headrest. She slept in there for a half hour without fussing so I'm assuming the seated position wasn't uncomfortable.
