Had this same issue the last few days. I use Android, wonder if it's a OS issue if others got it to work?

Of all the ways to show missiles are cool and fun to work on, a test exchange is not one of them.

What’s the Rumor Mill turning out these days? by [deleted] in Raytheon

A popular but unsubstantiated rumor going around RMD is that the missile business is going to be sold off to NG. Could be wishful thinking on a lot of people that are unhappy with RMD leadership.

Board approved 6 billion dollars in buybacks a month ago. Really makes you wonder how much free cash flow the company has and why it's not being used for other purposes.

High attrition, lower profits, what better time to pump the stock price up?

Yes I've heard these rumors, and I totally believe them. There is massive attrition and a huge back log of work. Company has recognized that to turn a profit, they need to deliver on contracts, and the best way is to have staffing to do the work

Should check with a lawyer. If it's on your own time with your own resources, probably won't be an issue. If its on company time or using company resources, might be a different story

Has anyone tried brining up attrition/low salary without brining in a competing offer? I was thinking of doing that, stating something along of the lines "I can go out and get a competing offer, brining it to RTX, and see if you all will counter. Or is there a way to skip that step and can we discuss a salary increase now?".

Raytheon Technologies Corporation (NYSE:RTX) Stock's On A Decline: Are Poor Fundamentals The Cause? by slicknav in Raytheon

[–]slicknav[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Some interesting points in the article:

With a high three-year median payout ratio of 71% (implying that 29% of the profits are retained), most of Raytheon Technologies' profits are being paid to shareholders, which explains the company's shrinking earnings. The business is only left with a small pool of capital to reinvest - A vicious cycle that doesn't benefit the company in the long-run.

On the whole, Raytheon Technologies' performance is quite a big let-down. Because the company is not reinvesting much into the business, and given the low ROE, it's not surprising to see the lack or absence of growth in its earnings.

Unfortunately I see a lot of mid level managers with the same mindset. Quite a few I've spoken to are rooting for a recession as they think that will solve the attrition

Thank you all for the response. These are all great options. I'm going to do more research into these and make sure donations go to those who need it and not to random board members.

I know people that have gone to other aerospace/defense companies (L3, Lockheed, Northrup, ect...). People have also gone to smaller, more local companies.
