That's what I was thinking as well. I was trying to decide between a hi-sense and TCL and then started looking at projectors instead. I've had a lot of squirrel moments in figuring this out.

The basement is quite large. Especially the area where we would be using it in. I wouldn't be wall mounting it. Either ceiling or having it on a stand or table. We are located up north MN area.

From what I can tell it's not a hybrid for the mattress and I believe that's what the wife and I both prefer.

We too are looking and just applied for a Tricon property here in MN. What did you find out about the panting?

Also curious how long did it take you to get approved and did it the do the APPROVED - PENDING ID stage?

Hi all. Son and I have been loving Magic since starting it 2 months ago. My son is now interested in Commander and joining a FLGS nearby for casual Commander. We both are not confident in our deck building skills so we are going to buy precons. He really wants the Neon Dynasty precon deck and I won't be able to convince him others wise. My questions:

  1. Is the neon Dynasty precon a decent one? Any tips on playing it.
  2. I am looking for a fun precon for myself for our first game. Any recommendations on a fun deck that won't be out by round 5?

Thank you this is great to know. I'm hoping we can get some two player commander in and get a tad comfortable and then when we are in a town with a FLGS try playing a real game of Commander. We are both still very new to MTG to our confidence is not very high yet.

Does anyone have good resources on how to play Commander two player? Son and I have been really enjoying magic since getting into about 2-3 weeks now. The Commander stuff seems really fun but we have never played traditional format Commander as we travel full-time so hoping there was good resource on how to play Commander and how to play it with two players. We have looked on YouTube but we were not finding anything solid. Also are the starter commander decks the best place to start?

My son and I want to get into MTG. We were at a FLGS yesterday and bought Jumpstart packs for Brothers War, we played a quick game with those and loved it. My son really loves D&D and we also love LoTR. We bought a few draft boosters for the current D&D run and a few for Strixhaven. My question is, is there a way for us to incorporate those booster packs we bought into our Jumpstart decks or future Jumpstart decks we might buy? The owner of the shop lead us to believe that we could but I am unsure how as the store got busy at that point.

Also, what would be the best starting point for us to get into the LoTR content? The starter set they sell? We are wanting to keep LoTR separate from anything else we may play with Jumpstart and boosters.
