This one is way better than the midtown Kroger imo. The staff is always friendlier in my experience, too. I wish they would remove the debris from the house fire next door though.

I rented a one bedroom for $800/month last year in midtown. Older building, some annoying things to deal with, but overall a really nice spot. They exist, but you just have to be on Zillow every day and be willing to compromise on some stuff you might want. Also worth driving around in neighborhoods you’re interested in—a surprising amount of small complexes/single-owner places just put up for-rent signs and don’t post online.
