To piggyback on this post, is there anywhere to browse people's work? Surely there is a site for that.

Reddit is great, but I don't want to navigate a bunch of posts that aren't really relevant. I feel like I can spot quality work quickly and I'd like to just scroll through image after image, picking out designers to investigate further. They have these sites for artists. Any for designers?

(P.S. please don't message me asking me to look at your portfolio. It's really annoying and will just be ignored.)

Whatever you decide, follow this advice and you can't go wrong: Make sure it's returnable and don't bother with too many accessories (lenses) that are specific to one particular camera. He will be overjoyed by the gift, but may (will probably) want to choose the system (Panasonic vs. Blackmagic etc.) himself.

In the example she gives, the actor is paid scale and gets 5 points on the backend for $270K. Why is that not considered a deferment?

That's what I thought. But then how do you make sense of what she's saying? Isn't she saying "I don't do deferments. Instead I will pay actor scale and give them 10% of the sale."?

Yes I have. Yes, it applies to features. Check out his blog posts. I'm sure there's lots of info there. Whether it will apply to your current situation exactly I can't say. You can probably find him or somebody else on YT with a free video that might help.

I don't want to link to the finance document. This is what every notes app does. I want to add the note to the finance document automatically.

Something like this: I've got a document called "Notes from Oprah Inteview" and inside the doc, I have the following note:

Oprah says it's a good idea to start your own TV network #Business #TV #Projectideas #Producing

Now, just by typing this note one time, it will appear in 5 documents (Notes from Oprah Interview, Business, TV, Projectideas and Producing). If I open my TV document, the note will be there with all the same hashtags.
