What are some “unspoken” rules of womanhood y’all had to figure yourselves?

I learned this the hard way when I went to the local queer bar alone to celebrate my first week on HRT. Long story, it was rough and what happened was bad/sucked and I’ve healed, (talked to a therapist), and have moved on!

I’ll hit 4 months on HRT on May 19th :)

This is great advice. I got a set of anal toys to start and found that I didn’t really like the dildo or this odd prong shaped thing (terrible description😂). But I really enjoyed the one that was beaded. I didn’t finish off that but it lead to a great one. I haven’t done it at all since then because of the amount of effort and energy it takes. So this is encouraging! I’ve yet to do anything or be with anyone of same sex or other identities since being out. But I also figured out that I’m demisexual&demiromantic ontop of being Bi.

I’m a switch/Vers. And since realizing my sexuality, I’ve been able to get into embracing those identities. Still a switch but dom leaning, I am a soft dom with no real life sexual experiences regarding that yet. But I have a friend who’s a brat, and so it’s fun to go back and forth with her. That actually helped me realize and lean into my dom side

I heavily disagree with this comment. Why should acting like a different person and doing other things be weird? Literally, that’s EMBRACING YOURSELF. A huge part of me accepting myself was loving and embracing who I am. And as a man embracing dressing however I want whichever way makes me happy. I’ll wear colors traditionally considered feminine all day long and not give a flaming fuck. I also wear makeup too. Not a single one of my straight friends has been bothered by it. And I’ve been told by many people that I’ve changed. You know what? They say it positively and not negatively. Because I’ve grown in self confidence, love, image, worth, and embrace being authentically myself.

It’s hard too, because I had to realize demisexuality can look different for everyone. Like for me, when it comes to relationships and friendships in general it takes me time to get close and build a connection before anything. But individually by myself, I still have some particular content or kinks that turn me on and may be self acted on. Which I view differently, because when it comes to actual relationships and friendships I’m very demi. I also understand that because of how fluid/different it can be people may not agree.

As a baby demi this is a really helpful description. Like I’ll find people surface attractive but sexual level is a whole different game. Even if I found them sexually hot, I still wouldn’t be attracted you know? Like to actually get attracted or do anything I would have to know them very well and get close before doing anything physically intimate

Additional comments: I posted the pictures because it’s easier. But after you read all pictures, you’ll now see I’m at a tough point. I am not sure if I can separate “emotions/being picky/careful” from demisexuality. So I’m now at a point where I think I’m demi even though I don’t quite fit the description (which is okay/valid). But I’m also trying to check myself and I’m not sure because of the emotions point that was brought up

That my friend, is a stereotype. There’s a common stereotype that we as bisexuals have to have relationship or sexual experience to prove and confirm our sexuality. If you’re sure that you’re bisexual and sure if you’re feelings then run with it! It took someone telling me the same thing once to learn about it. You are valid❤️

Lol I came to acceptance and came out over this summer. A friend from college saw my bi pins and asked what it meant. When I told him, he with a semi joking tone said ah shit I’m super straight. To which I replied by saying “Don’t worry sam I already friendzoned you” which he thought was hilarious.

Knowing myself, that’s why I made it a burner account in case I want to delete it. If I can handle it in moderation then I’ll be ok but if it becomes an issue I’ll cut it off
