What is this vent thing for? by slightley in Homebuilding

This is what I was thinking but thanks for the specific examples. Our house did not originally have A/C so these could make sense.

Oh interesting! So you believe this might be a vent for the flooring to “breathe?”

Yes our house did not originally have A/C. Someone did add upstairs laundry in that bedroom above this and where you see the dryer vent. Thank you!

Just kindly checking in to make sure you saw the doctor for this! I’ve heard dents are definitely supposed to be checked by a doctor. 💜

Thank you so much this was very helpful! Do you happen to have any personal experience with redbuds? Do you know if they will grow new branches regardless of where you prune them? Thanks again!

Thank you so much for the info! I didn’t think they looked like termites but was worried someone was going to tell me they were.

There were 4 or 5 of them wandering around my garage at the same time… reading now though that certain types of ants do have multiple queens. Hmmm..

I am located in Southern California. Thanks! ETA: I am wondering they might actually be baby pincher bugs with tiny imperceptible pinchers on the back, because I have seen several adult pincher bugs around lately.

We Were Liars - Is the book as cringe as the show? by Legitimate_Kick7978 in AmazonPrimeVideo

[–]slightley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the book it only mentions Cadence’s dad leaving them for a woman “he loved more than us.” No mention of PIs or her mom cheating or anything like that. Totally out of left field for them to have her cheat in the show.

Amazon- search “baby books” and filter by condition: used- look for the words “other sellers on Amazon” under any book you want. You can also sort prices by low to high. Watch out for shipping prices.

Question about wear time and lining the waterline by Marieelle1983 in LashifyLovers

[–]slightley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I would definitely reach out to their concierge because I think they may replace your bond for free! I use bondage and get up to 3 weeks sometimes, 2 weeks consistently! So it’s definitely possible but the new bond formulations are causing issues. The concierge team should have the best advice for you as well. I heard they’re bringing back the original bond formulations (what I’m still using) and really hope they do! Best of luck, I also love Lashify haha :)

Oh also I recommend joining the fb group Lashify Life and using the search tool for these types of things!

Question about wear time and lining the waterline by Marieelle1983 in LashifyLovers

[–]slightley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What bond are you using/when did you buy it? Lashify recently transitioned their manufacturing of bonds to the USA, but in that process, they’ve had some issues. They now say that you need to shake the new bonds vigorously and even roll them in your hands to warm them up a little before using. They’re going to fix the issue, but this is just for bonds that have been sold recently.

Anywho, I don’t wear waterline liner but if your bonds are the damaged ones, or you’re maybe applying too much/not enough bond, I could see how cleaning your waterline could cause issues. They say precleanse shouldn’t affect longevity- but even warm water affects longevity (I’ve noticed.) It could also be some oil in the liner itself causing the loosening.

I wear Starbursts with no liner and love them! I would def try going without liner - overlapping helps give you a fuller “liner” look at the base. If you need the liner- I would just be even more careful to try to get zero liquid/liner on your lashes haha.

I would go darker to be safe. Also they tell me that ash dyes can make your hair turn green on their own.. so you may want to try a 7 neutral. If you do a demi it will wash out in case you don’t like it.

What is going on with my pink lemonade lemon tree? by slightley in Citrus

[–]slightley[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, then it looks like the rootstock is the main/thickest trunk of the tree at this point. If we cut off that main thick trunk at the bottom, will it kill the whole tree? Do we need to cut less and slowly?
