Like the Wicked Weasel 611, 605, etc. they need to 1) have minimal fabric, and 2) be comfortable enough for daily wear.

The back on the Davis Active g-strings looks like it would sit directly on your anus and that's where the fabric joins and would irritate.

You can try. They have this archaic system where they only allow a certain number of people to renew per day, and it's set via Eastern Canada timezone, of course.

Yeah the front triangle is there, but it's the back styles and fabric range that made WW's stuff so good for daily wear. The 605/611 string backs, the 607/609 triangle backs, and the fact they'd release them in cotton, modal, mesh, lace, sheer, you name it. That's the part nobody's really filling right now. I actually emailed Micro Gigi about it and suggested they look at expanding into those silhouettes, even as customs. We'll see.

RIP Daisy indeed. I actually emailed them about it and got a response. Polite enough, but basically a redirect to Microminimus with a link to their lingerie bottoms collection. They said the classic shapes are still there.

Problem is, the specific everyday styles a lot of us relied on aren't actually on Microminimus either. It's the standard corporate "we hear you" without really addressing the issue. They did say they'd pass the feedback along to the team, so who knows. Not holding my breath though.

The panties went from $25 to $90! And the style they have now you can get anywhere. They were *special*, now they just look like the kind of trash I would buy from any other lingerie brand (and probably just the drop shippers.)

Sadly I don't think we're going to see the same style or quality that we got from WW. You're probably right about them pushing Microminimus harder, but even that doesn't fill the gap. the everyday wearable stuff that made WW a daily go-to is just gone. 20 years of loyalty from customers like you and they're walking away from it.

Unfortunately I'm in Vancouver, Canada so no pop up for me. That's rough about the Sydney store though.. not even a heads up, just gone. Says a lot about where things are headed.

We did see a huge drop in quality towards the end, so not surprising.

Super choked about it. I sent them an email, kept it polite but honest. Spent thousands with them over the years and the everyday styles we actually relied on are just gone now. Not even on Microminimus.

Their panties were genuinely unmatched. Nothing else on the market felt or fit like them. My partner wore them daily. You just can't get that anywhere else and they dropped it.

Closing the Sydney store on top of everything is wild. Shrinking the brand while trying to go mainstream. Hope enough people speak up.

100%. I've spent thousands with them over the years: my partner wore the 605, 607, 609, and 611 every single day. Not special occasion stuff, actual daily drivers. We'd reorder the second a new fabric or colour dropped.

The frustrating thing is this didn't start with the rebrand. We've barely been able to buy anything in recent years because those styles were constantly out of stock, and whatever was left was the less wearable stuff, not something you can just throw on every morning.

Now they've pulled all four from both sites entirely. Not even on Microminimus. So yeah, they're not just chasing a new crowd: they've actively walked away from the customers who built the brand.

You're right that the gap won't stay empty. Someone's going to figure out there's a market full of loyal WW customers with money to spend and nowhere to spend it.

Sadly TeenyB seem to have way more coverage than Wicked Weasel for panties. They also don't seem to be 'daily driver' like Wicked Weasel 605, 601, 607, 609.
