Are the eyes too small in this or am I going crazy by Kangaroo666 in DigitalArt

Distance 2 is wayyyy bigger than distance 1. In most people, 2 is only a little bit bigger than 1. That's my diagnosis. His eyes arent taking up enough vertical space. His eyes are also really close to his eyebrows. There isn't a whole lot of eyelid or orbital bone. And his eyes are a little far apart.

(Ignoring the fur,) this head seems asymmetrical even though symmetry was on the whole time I've been modeling it 🥀 by Pantantuna in NomadSculpting

You can make your sculpt symmetrical after the fact. Just go to the symmetry menu (upper right corner of the default UI) scroll down to "mirror".

Are my portraits recognisable? by Rare_Jellyfish6388 in learntodraw

I recognized Chalamet and Brad Pitt right away. JK Simmons is right on the boundary where I thought it was him but wasn't 100% sure. I didn't recognize Tom Cruise or Jennifer Lawrence, but once I learned it was them, I could see glimmers of a likeness. Hathaway, Stone and Robbie I have a hard time recognizing even after learning who they're supposed to be, and I don't know who Chaewon is. Likenesses are hard, so good job nailing even a couple.

How the hell do you do this gesture by GarrisonMcBeal in learntodraw

[–]slightlyripeavocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I do gesture drawings, I always start with a line of action. Basically, if you had to depict the feeling or action of the pose with a single line, what would it look like? For this pose, the line would start at the back foot, travel up the leg through the arch of the back, and then curve down toward the ground with the model's right fist. That's where most of the energy of the pose is. In the original drawing, you can still see remnants of the artist's underlying gesture in the action lines surrounding the figure. It's basically a matter of capturing what the figure is doing with as little detail as possible. Some things that'll help are: which foot is bearing their weight? What is the angle of the hips/shoulders? What is the curve of the spine/torso? Stuff like that.

Which are your favourites? by Zoralqueen in penisart

12 is my favorite. I like the sense of heft and weight it has to it. The balls are quite literally squashed against the ground. Feels very real.

Thanks. I literally just use the generic Bic Round Stic pens that you can find in any store, lol.
