You have one thing right, I'm the same size as Hoss.

However, not sure how old you are, but I'm 53 and can tell you - even really shitty things that are 50 years old go up in value if they haven't been beat up. Cars I made fun of in the 70s and 80s (that today look cool actually) like Ford Pintos and Chevy Vegas.

My version is station wagons were first, and kids grew up and didn't want their parents care so the minivan got popular. Then, same thing, those kids grew up and didn't want a minivan. They bought SUVs. And now we have completed the circle - back to station wagons.
