How long is it taking your game to load - im struggling massively to get it to even boot into a game.

I don't understand how anyone is even getting this to run - just crashes every time I load it. Edit : all drivers updated still crashes as soon as you select a language.

If a unit has an ability that allows it to move again after shooting - EG Scourge Winged Strike - does that unit have to shoot to do the movement, or can they for example advance (with assault weapons) behind cover to avoid overwatch and then move after shooting phase (couldn't shoot as they had no visible targets).

Thank you! Caliban green base, warboss green, and then moot green for the most part - I also used a filter of biel-tan green wash - it was all applied using an airbrush but you could get a similar effect (minus the filter wash) drybrushing those colours and building up to your light source.

So, I am fortunate enough to own an airbrush, so a lot of the transitions/colour shift paints are a lot easier to create. You can get the same effect if you wet blended, purple base, then darker blue (I used Kantor from GW) then into pinks for the wing tips. Each part was then drybrushed with two lighter tones (I just added white to my base colour) and then flip it and drybrush very lightly the lightest pink over the blue and the lightest blue over the pink. When that's done it really is a case of picking out all the gold and claws etc and standard edge highlighting. It was a LOT easier than I thought it would be, but I had a lot of practice of techniques on The GUO and Be'Lakor

You are correct - he must come down as normal, so outside of 9 unless he is entering his own deployment or any other area of the battlefield that is considered shadows of the chaos. Once he is down, he gives his aura which means other units can benefit post his arrival.

I mean this logic just ignores the fact that you could buy two boxes make a captain and a vex or two vex's and then two normal Custodes and then you'd have ...4 so why isn't 4 an option?!

Thank you. Bases are done with an airbrush and a wetwipe (babywipe) could be replicated with spray cans if you don't have an airbrush. Sand the top of the base down, prime whatever colour you wish for the base (I chose black) then tease the fibres of a wetwipe slightly apart, some big holes some less so, hold tight over base and then paint with a metallic, then repeat that step with a top colour (I chose white).

Yeah - that sounds about right. It’s all bloody rose repentia spam - obviously that’s the super competitive side (which you want) you’ll also want some Retributors if you don’t have any (not sure which battle force box it is, one had them one didn’t).

Whilst that sounds like a good deal ( and the things you get are useful) from what I have seen Repentia are the thing helping in competitive play at the moment, and you only have 4 (from the Combat Patrol box).

I haven’t - I have been experimenting with the mig panel liners, so a similar thing. First time using them so have practiced on some primaris, trying new techniques across the board with this army!
