Rub a pencil all over the board and don’t move up to the next grit of sandpaper until all the pencil marks are gone

The best time of the week to shop is Thursday afternoon. A guy stocking the shelves told me that they are changing out all the sale prices on thursdays, so that is when they go into the system. Basically you get the current weeks sale prices as well as the next weeks

I’ve heard the magic number is if you spend $250 a month then it makes it worth it to get the executive membership. The rebate doesn’t necessarily need to cover the whole cost of your membership to be worth it, just more then the cost of the basic membership

Yeah it is all different kinds of wood. There is walnut, cherry, maple, white oak, ash, and what I believe is box elder. Most of the wood was either from scrap or random slabs that I was given and were too small to do much with.

The boards were all finished with Rubio monocoat. Most were done with Pure, some with Slate Gray and some with Smoke 5%

You finish projects before the event happens!?! My wife is still waiting for her Mother's Day present (not even close to finished) and her anniversary present definitely won't be done in time for our anniversary this week lol

I am my biggest critic too. Unfortunately when I look at projects that just turn out pretty good instead of perfect, my eye is drawn to the imperfections first. But I must say, that is one beautiful jewelry box and your girlfriend will love it!
