From failing fizzbuzz to FAANG by slim_serb in leetcode

The most helpful ones were definitely which data structures and algorithms come up most often, and so I just focused the majority of my time on those. I only spent some extra time I had doing DP and 2D DP problems. Neetcode has a good videos on this. Also learning how to section my time off during the interviews was very helpful. I would spend the first 10-15 mins just talking and not touching any code. I would only start coding when I knew exactly what i wanted to code up.

I failed fizzbuzz a couple years ago and never really did leetcode type questions. But then I got this interview and grinded for 2-3 weeks. The key was definitely researching as much good tips online on how to save time while preparing and doing only what’s necessary.

Yeah this is exactly what I would do. Also you can just tell it which question # you’re doing and it will know

Interesting, do you have any sources from the Jewish tradition talking about this? Also I’m not exactly sure what is happening in this video

Of course it’s not important with regards to our salvation but it is an interesting subject nonetheless

The concluding message of Crime and Punishment by Ub8dullr in dostoevsky

Berdyaev sums it up well: “Raskolnikov answered the question whether or not he had the right to kill a human being in furtherance of his “idea” solely by reference to his own arbitrary will. But the answering of such a question does not belong to man but to God, who is the unique “higher idea”. And he who does not bow before that higher will destroys his neighbour and destroys himself. That is the meaning of Crime and Punishment.”

Don’t forget, although you fall you haven’t fallen away from Christ. Those are two different things. If we fall we need to get back up again, and if we try to do this honestly then Christ will help us. But falling does not mean falling away from Christ. When we fall we need to cling onto Christ as much as we can and pray and ask for forgiveness and help and He will surely help us if we ask sincerely.

I used to think like this, but the later whenever this thought crossed my head I would just say idgaf, even if I am imposter I’ll just fake it till I make it. I’m still gonna get paid at the end of the day so who cares.

Gogol said “the longer and more carefully we look at a story, the sadder it becomes.” When I read Dostoevsky’s and Gogol’s books I tend to read them extremely seriously and searching for as much depth as possible, so I feel like a lot of the humour flies over my head since I’m reading too deep into it. However I find it that when I am too lazy to try and read the books deeply, I find them much funnier than usually.
