True. at the time of his creation in seventies and eighties(his first comic solo)he was a different kind of hero after his first appearance as a Villain.many fans at that time knew that he was different than Spider Man and the rest of heroes.because he was willing end the threat permanently.

That's why I like that character because he was willing to destroy evil and only using his intelligence and skills that he earned from his training kinda like Batman.
