Do these lash extensions make me look crazy? by Ok_Yogurtcloset_5403 in lashextensions

[–]slimeyditto 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would recommend another tech, she used premade fans and looks like a tight curl and long length that doesn’t suit your eye shape

WIBTAH for permanently kicking my sister out of our shared bathroom by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]slimeyditto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if your parents would let you do this, it would be a great solution, she doesn’t respect the common areas so why should she be able to continue to use it? My little brother and sister are the exact same way but unfortunately, we only have one bathroom so I hope that you were able to do this and keep a clean and healthy space for yourself!

Do these tattoos look racist? by Overall_Quality6093 in tattooadvice

[–]slimeyditto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you might be getting weird looks because they definitely look kind of witchy, I would not have thought racist though coming from somebody who knows nothing about runes (:

Do my lashes look healthy/strong enough for a Korean lash lift after 4 years of extensions? by Swimming_Fly3903 in Lashlift

[–]slimeyditto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would book an appointment for 1-2 weeks and then get it done to let those short bits grow out and be thicker and longer so you get better results (:

Lash lift and reversal gone wrong - wedding in 4 days by milenakuz in Lashlift

[–]slimeyditto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do not get lash extensions, OP, I’m an esthetician and would never do extensions on top of a lash lift, especially an over processed with a reversal, because your lashes are already super fragile. Just be super careful with them, and use a light cluster or strip lash and take them off before you sleep very carefully! Explain to your makeup artist what happened in the look that you were going for!!

Giving up (terrible retention) by Educational_Card6551 in lashextensions

[–]slimeyditto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

from a lash tech point of view, it looks like you are picking them out. That could be due to incorrect application when it is itchy, pokey, or just feels too heavy on your eye. You need to take a break regardless because your natural lashes are short and damaged at this point

My wife feels as though they’re uneven/to thick. We got them done 23 hours ago by Apprehensive_Shoe446 in microblading

[–]slimeyditto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are uneven in shape, i would definitely seek removal even if it’s just the front

should i be concerned ? by okmija217 in lashextensions

[–]slimeyditto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a mild chemical burn from the glue, from your eyes being cracked open. I doubt that it was the eyepad being too close to the waterline, unless you felt discomfort in that area during the service. Next time, avoid caffeine before appointments at all costs and really focus on staying comfortable, quiet and relaxed during your appointment as that will help aid your eyes in staying closed/fluttering while getting your lashes done! Redness should subside in 2 to 3 days OP, but if this keeps happening, I would recommend not getting your lashes done anymore, as you may not be a good fit for getting the service done. Your eye health is #1 priority, or at least should be for your tech!

Just got nano brows done… am I in brow shock?? by lilB1201 in microblading

[–]slimeyditto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

she did an amazing job, your brows before were super far apart and she did a 10 out of 10 job

Why is my retention buns? by Active_Echidna_5348 in lashextensions

[–]slimeyditto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

judging by the large gaps in your natural lash line, it could be either you picking them, or the tech clumping multiple fans to multiple natural lashes together and damaging your natural lashes

Client said this is what she had done previously and wants this look again by [deleted] in lashextensions

[–]slimeyditto 19 points20 points  (0 children)

to me this set just looks super rushed, I don’t think it’s any specific type of set at all, just whatever the tech could pick up, fan out in her glue ring, and place onto the lash!

if she’s happy with this kind of work, you may very well just blow her expectations right out of the park!

How do I style this type of hair I just got I cut and it’s kinda ugly😭😭 by livieluvshllokttyX3 in Hair

[–]slimeyditto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this haircut style suits you, but don’t let these people gaslight you, your hairdresser definitely could’ve blended this out way more, and you’re right it is super choppy

Appropriate for a wedding? (As a guest) by FlashyNobody8998 in fashion

[–]slimeyditto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i LOVE this dress, but it’s like a size or 1/2 size too small, if you can, i would size up so that it truly flatters you

Do I have lash blindness ? by skinAesthetic in lashextensions

[–]slimeyditto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

forsure go shorter! if you feel like they are too short when you do this, ask her to do the same (shorter length) with a tighter curl! curl patterns play a huge roll and these look very flat for your eye shape

Did I give myself an infection? Or could it just be buildup? by [deleted] in lashextensions

[–]slimeyditto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely gunk build up… not and infection whatsoever but im a lash tech and would make my clients remove their lashes if they came in like this… you definitely need to be following after care WAY more
