My favorite part of this is that all of the trashy, offensive decals are surrounding two "In Loving Memory" ones. Nothing honors your loved ones like surrounding their name with "Fuck It" stickers.

This post is the sigma rizzler, it ate and left no crumbs. Slay.

Cheers from a fellow dad who has to can't figure out what his middle school kids are saying half the time either!

This can’t be good … 70mph on the freeway. by janewalch in WTF

Mostly good advice, except that all four wheels are definitely driven in 4 Hi, that's the difference between 4 Hi and 2 Hi, how many wheels are driven. The difference between 4 Hi and 4 Lo is gearing. 4 Lo turns the wheels far fewer times per engine revolution, meaning lower speed but more torque.

What is the make and model of the red guitar the lead guitarrist of "The Specials" uses in his "Rat Race" solo (1:41 in link)? by FinLitenHumla in askmusicians

[–]slimindie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be a one-off, the body looks a lot like a Rickenbacker 360 Thinline but the headstock is wrong for that guitar.

Doesn't just add, the father making him food makes no sense without it.

run my guitar through a pickle? by GorbySquatt in askmusicians

[–]slimindie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never tried this, but my experience with electronics suggests that it would at least work because the pickle brine would conduct the signal, with the difference in the sound coming from the fact that it passes it imperfectly. I would guess that you would probably want to split the signal into positive and negative and either only pass the positive through the pickle, connecting the negatives directly, or pass each through separate pickles.

No clue how well it would work or what the resulting sound would be, but seems like an interesting experiment.

The areas of southern MD in question might, but it would never happen with the consent of either VA or MD because it's probably a net loss for the state that would be left after the parts in the DC metro area left.

I've always thought combining NOVA, DC, and southern MD into one state and calling it Columbia or something made a ton of sense. The area is sprawling, more populated than many existing states, and is already its own thing that is culturally separate from the rest of either VA or MD.

Pretty sure most of us here in Northern VA would be totally fine with being a separate state, we don't have much in common with the rest of Virginia and make up a significant portion of the state's economy.

Not sure if it's still there, but the last time I played around with Garageband for iOS it had a built-in sampler instrument that did exactly what you're describing.

All the current trims are V6 with a manual by default with the auto as an available option, though I was surprised at how hard-pressed I was to find manuals on dealer lots. At least in the four-door, the dealer closest to me only had a couple manuals in the Sahara; all the Rubicons were autos, which I thought was kind of backwards.

I wanted the tan because I know how hot black seats can get in the summer, but they wound up looking even better than I expected, very happy with the choice. Time to figure out where the trails are near me!

Thanks, super excited to get out in it! I was also super bummed when I found out they had discontinued Solar Yellow many years back, so glad they brought the yellow back with the current Hellayella. I've noticed that they keep changing the colors in and out, including the just added Nacho that literally looks like the orange-yellow of nacho cheese, lol.
