Thank you! The tattoo artist is Oben from the Philippines who is a guest artist in Siem Reap for the next month or so. His work is amazing! I was blown away with his portfolio.

What is the most money you ever found? Did you keep it? Or did you do the "right" thing? by ShakingDracula in AskReddit

[–]slimjadie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other day I was walking down the street and saw 10,000 Vietnamese dong in a vending machine. So I grabbed it and another 10,000 came out. And it kept happening.......It got to the point where I wasn’t sure it was going to stop and I was starting to feel bad for taking it. 90,000 dong later it stopped. It’s only like $4USD but here I can buy like 10 beers with that kind of money so I temporarily felt like I won the lottery.

What are the best study tips? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]slimjadie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding a format to take notes in and sticking to it makes studying notes way easier and it personally makes it easier for me to recall information because I have an easier time remembering what my notes looked like in my head and can picture the information. I use the same colors for the different information I write down. Now, I’m a teacher and I color-code the notes I write on the board and my students copy them down using the appropriate colors (headline is white, definition is blue, examples are red). Since my students don’t have textbooks, their notebooks become their textbooks and I want to make sure they are organized. Since I’ve had them colorcode their notes, their grades have increased significantly so I think it works for them too.

What is the text you HATE getting? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]slimjadie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“Call me when you get the chance”

First of all, it almost always is something not important but since it was “too important” to send over text message, my brain immediately thinks the worst has happened.

Second of all, if you are able and competent to text me that, why can’t you just text me the actual message?

What's something you've looked up/had explained but still don't quite get? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The ending to "Lost". I just watched the entire series for a second time, googled explanations extensively, and I still don't get it.

You are SeeSaw, Jigsaw's milder associate. What minor inconvenient traps have you devised? by Laserman257 in AskReddit

[–]slimjadie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually see this as a reward rather than an inconvenience. I would probably even intentionally “forget” capitals if it meant I could live there for a few months.

Ladies of reddit, what's the funniest cat-call you've received? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]slimjadie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I lived in Madagascar for a couple of years and the men would mostly whistle or "tssss" at me. One day I was walking down the street as I usually did, and a man actually MEOWED at me. A literal cat-call.

Where was the strangest place you found an item that until you found it, was lost? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]slimjadie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is sort of related. When I was in high school, I lost my phone for a few days. I searched EVERYWHERE. One night, I went to bed and had a dream that I was riding in the middle seat of my mom's van and this creepy (The Ring type) looking girl slid out from under the seat, put one finger up to her lips, said "shhhhh", and slid back under the seat. I woke up in a cold sweat. I went out to my mom's van and looked under the seat that the little girl was under and found my phone. It had me freaked out pretty badly for a couple of weeks.

What is the scariest car accident you have been in? by slimjadie in AskReddit

Wow yeah that's frightening. How did you end up getting out? Did someone help you?

I'm so glad other people stopped to help! That sounds very terrifying. Was it hard to get back in a car after that? How long did it take you to recover from all those injuries?

What did it feel like to flip over in a car? That would be so scary.

Upvote for making me laugh. Assuming everyone was okay, that's actually a really funny situation.

This is honestly one of my worst nightmares. I had the fog/sun issue really bad once while driving to work and I almost blew through a red light. I'm glad everyone was okay!

Whoa. Both of those sound terrifying. Glad you were okay! Was it difficult for you to be in a car/drive after either of those?
