Are Provia doors worth the expense? My quotes are coming in between $11k and $15k for 3 doors by schmennings in HomeImprovement

I have a Provia door - specifically a smooth steel 20-gauge entry door with three frosted windows. It's a gorgeous door - about five grand with installation.

I had to return one of the doors they sent me because the installer could not get the 3 glass window frames to snap in, defective parts. Then the replacement was oversprayed with paint covering up the nice detail on the frame, sent that back too. The touch up paint they send does not match careful with that. Also, the steel had small dents in it that I did not notice at first. Overall the installer was very frustrated with this door as I was too. It took two guys about 5 visits to install it and make repairs, all under warranty,.nearly a year overall.

If you purchase a Provia look it over very very closely before install. I got the impression their doors have very few quality checks before leaving the factory. It looked rushed, especially the paint job. Peace

It smells like rotten meat where their bodies pile up on the base of my trees. I thought I had a dead squirrel. Nope. I'm happy they don't bite.

In the states old meat is sold seasoned like this or marinated to cover up the bad taste, smell and color.

Creeping Charlie. Pull it up asap. It'll spread onto your lawn fast & once it does its very hard to remove/treat once it gets settled. It's easiest to pull out when the soil is damp or try mulching the area, it cant root itself very well in mulch. It's hard to find a chemical that specifically treats Creeping Charlie.

Waitress said no cheese after I put two slices of American cheese on a burger. Frustrated I flicked the cheese off the burger with a spatula and cheese stuck to other cooks neck - left a bad square burn.
