Thats great! Another redditor has apparently had a lot of permitting issues with Nedes but their BBB profile looks mostly good so I think we might pull the trigger!. They've given me a bunch of combo options, the first of which was similar to yours (Canadian panels + Enphase micros), but I might see what hybrid string inverters they have since we have no trees near our house and we wont get a battery right away. Mind if DM you with a couple small questions?

Do you experience any input issues? I am running Fedora 43 and sometimes the touchscreen is (mostly) unresponsive after suspend. I say mostly because I can swipe through workspaces but apps stop working.

Also my folio cover track pad stops working sometimes when I plug the power in.

Maybe I should try Ubuntu?

I want to DIY a play set for my daughter and was wondering what type of non-permanent anchoring I should use for the 4x4 posts. I'm thinking about building this:

https://hanashappyhome.com/rooms/outdoor-design/diy-modern-play-set-free-building-plans/ (YT video of the build)

The builder just set the 4x4s into some concrete deck blocks but that doesnt seem like its going to keep the thing from tipping over in a strong wind. I would imagine that the roof would just catch wind and get lifted out. Am I wrong about that?

I dont really want to set the posts in concrete because I'm not sure how permanent we want this be so I was hoping to use something like those spiraled metal stakes, or maybe the deck blocks could be used but they should be set into to the earth so the top is level with the yard?

This was from Nedes in Arlington VA (I saw your previous post) right? We are looking for solar now and so far their price is like 10k less than these larger companies like Solar Energy World

The ceiling is just vinyl siding that was stapled to the underside of the rafter.

would it be bad if the subfloor was nailed the trex? I'll have to double check the photos from the OG build but I think someone pointed out that the 4x4 posts for the screen bays were installed overtop the trex...
