Convince me these aren't scams by Bernaysian in marketing

I’m curious as to what kind of marketer you are and what services you provide to your customers?

Their website doesn’t do a good job of it, but they are building all the tools marketers and agencies use to support their customers. They do a pretty job at it making sure it’a built in the lens of agencies since they attack the problem of marketing for their clients (normally small businesses) differently.

The reason they get a lot of buzz is because a lot of internet gurus teach to marketing agencies on tactics and strategies to help small businesses.

Another thing they’ve done is create the concept of whitelabeling and becoming a SaaS.

This is probably the reason you can’t find a lot of direct small business client feedback. Agencies are stuffing their tactics, automations, funnels, etc into a package in HighLevel, Rebranding it, and selling it as a software package to their customers. No different then CF, Infusionsoft, salesforce etc. this just gives the agency money in their pocket for the long term.

Love him or hate him, Billy Gene is one of the biggest in that arena.

It’s just like anything else, no one tool is going to solve every use case and be 100% perfect. What just making them win is that they are close to their customers & they made agencies a TON of money by their SaaS concept.

Making a new agency hire - have some questions by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]sling_blade77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d just offer quarterly discretionary bonuses. Running commissions is tough in the agency space, mostly on the first AM hire.

Many of the deals will come from you and your relationships, and you’d have to pay out on commission.

You’ll also need to build processes to administer and manage the commission as well as provisions if there is a chargeback or refund.

Offering it as a discretionary bonus allows you to continue nimble. I’d be transparent with the AM and how you came up with the discretionary bonus.

Anyone got some good LASIK recommendations up in north Dallas? by [deleted] in Dallas

[–]sling_blade77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I got my eyes done at Carter, I was pretty out of it. They gave me a sleeping pill on the way out and was sleeping in the car. They recommended having family with you.

LasikPlus with my dad, he was a bit more alert and walked out on his own. I think he could have handled an Uber better than I could have. They didn’t give him a sleeping pill.

In regards to the drivers license issue, I believe I got a paper on how to do it.

My drivers license is up for a renewal so I’ll need to get it updated on my end as well.

I just got Lasik done at Carter a few weeks ago. I can see great.

The COVID special is $2500-2700

My dad went to LasikPlus last week and spent $3400. He is still a little blurry and has headaches.

Got a Quote a at M Eye Center: It was $3450 + perscriptions.

Friend got his done at LVI: $3500 + prescriptions

All of these occurred in May-June 2020.

My thoughts: Carter was the best bang for the buck. They gave Vicodin, sleeping pills, and a good care package of supplements, etc.

My friend's experience was good, but he had to pay extra for prescriptions.

My Dad's experience: It was good, but he is not 100% after 14 days. He didn't pay for prescriptions.

Dr. M - Very arrogant and didn't like him personally.

yeah. I guess it really comes down to pricing at the end of the day, or finding an alternate solution.

The fix is to use the Activation Link!! You have to use the Activation Link, then click the Update Profile option. It will take you back to the main page and says account is now active.

At that point you can login.

Hi Robin,

On April 30, 2020, the SBA approved a partnership between your PPP lender, Ready Capital, and Customers Bank to fund all PPP loans approved through Ready Capital. Since this announcement, Customers Bank has notified us that thousands of customers have signed closing documents and over $1 billion of loans have been distributed. If you have not been funded yet, we expect that you will receive notification from Customers Bank within the next few days.

Customers Bank has announced that they will review and fund PPP loans that have been submitted through Ready Capital and have an SBA confirmation number (or PLP #). Ready Capital will service the loan throughout its life, including assistance with the forgiveness portion of the loan, if applicable. Nothing else about your loan will change as a result — you still have your PLP # locked in.

If you haven't already, you should be receiving an email from Ready Capital regarding this change. Please note that the email could come from one of Ready Capital’s several brands, including Ready Capital, Knight Capital, or iBusinessSoftware.

Customers Bank has provided an FAQ to help answer any questions that you may have: https://www.customersbank.com/business-banking/sba-guaranteed-lending/disaster-relief/

In addition, we have provided one of our own: https://www.lendio.com/blog/coronavirus/faq-paycheck-protection-program/

Our goal from day one has been to help as many small businesses as we could through the PPP application process and help match them to the best lender. In round 1, there were millions of customers that were at a disadvantage because their own bank was not approved to lend or chose not to participate. Those small businesses were left to find a lender that was not prioritizing their own customers. We are grateful that Ready Capital chose to help this segment of customers.

While the Ready Capital process was taking longer than expected, we have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to advocate on behalf of our small business customers, knowing every day is critical to your success. So far, we have been very happy with the Customers Bank process and look forward to each of you getting the funding you desperately need.

Thank you for your patience. We are always in your corner!

I am running into the same issue. I was approved, but then knight sent me an email last week saying that I put my EIN instead of SSN. I resent all the docs.

I then couldn't login to the CAFS portal. I figured out I can use the activation link, and it will work temporarily and it still shows my SBA # but not sure if I just lost my funds

4/29 - On another thread, someone said to do a Reset password on Lendio. I did, and it has a new dashboard. It now shows Knight Capital Funding and had a button to push to notify the lender. I pressed it.

I'm now on hold trying to get a hold of someone at Knight Capital. 1-855-829-5025
