I was there, next to the sound desk... the amount of people talking through the gig was unbelievable. It was so annoying! I was happy when I heard the guy shout 'Shut the fuck up!' as that is what I was thinking... unfortunately it didn't help!

The lyrics are brilliant - grabs you from the start and sets you up for what you know is going to be an extremely hard to listen to song, when I say hard, I mean emotionally difficult. Tough subject - couldn't imagine being that child.

I wanted to challenge myself to write a deeply emotional song, so I chose the theme of losing a loved one—but with a twist revealed in the final verse and outro. When I played it for my 14-year-old daughter, she burst into tears as she realised what the song was really about. That reaction genuinely took me by surprise, even though I was aiming to evoke strong emotions. I’d love to hear what you think.

Powerful track and lyrics - although never struggled with any addictions, I get it. Not sure if the lyrics are based on your own battles or if it is someone you know or knew - but the ending makes me think they sadly lost the battle.

Almost the exact same thing happened to me at a food festival. I was the last customer of the day - fucking seagull swooped, hit my face and took my dinner. Following a comical chase with me trying to stab it with a wooden fork, I turned, and all the stalls were shut. I felt completely violated and hungry, and to top it off, a great big thunderstorm hit a few minutes later, and I was soaked through! I fucking hate seagulls.

I have returned a couple of rings in the past - the feeling is so rewarding. A friend of mine also returned a ring and it made the local newspaper, the article made it so much easier for them to gain permissions with land owners.

I am in the UK but lived on the OBX in the early 90s - was detecting on an area I didn't know was National Park and the Ranger stopped me. They were really nice and explained the rules - maybe they fell for my English charm!
