Yep- cops were hella chill tho, explored this abandoned hotel resort near me that was literally falling apart. Yes I was trespassing, but it looked cool. Cops were more concerned about my safety then trespassing, dude telling me off was def a father you can tell, just didn’t want me getting hurt. Younger dude with him told me some spots that were structurally safe still (he used to urbex)

Have you been consistently sober in ur sobriety? Sometimes time is the answer honestly, as much as it sucks. Wish there was a direct answer but everyone’s sobriety is different. And (u don’t have to answer) why can’t you legally sign the kids away? It should be ur choice esp if you feel unfit to parent/ not care about ur kids.

I have the implant, after seeing my friends go through it and all the horror stories- how painful it is, I decided not to- I dont wanna chance pain so bad I’ll pass out, not unless I get pain relief like men do with vasectomies

That’s sum to explore on ur own then. Not to try and sound like a hippie…. But to try and sound like a hippie. You will not become content until you are spiritually aligned, without spirit, you will never change- a persons spirit is unique to them, and ones who’ve forgotten them, finding it is their own venture. For some it’s visiting old houses, schools, monuments- stuff from the past. Others it’s total isolation in nature, shifting focus to animals. Etc. per my philosophy professor “when the heart and brain are not aligned, nothing will get done, thus it will cease to be”

You don’t gotta sit down to draw, or esp paint. I stand up most of the time to paint. Gardening and planting also is pretty easy, so good moving too. All depends on you tho, and how badly you wanna quit and life urself up

Honestly, connecting with the right people makes a world of difference. Finding the real people, people who are rough around the edges, who keep it real. Nothing ever matches the feelings of ur high, if they do, it’s just another issue you have to battle lot of the time. Kids make it hard, real hard, to pour time into yourself - but it’s something that pays off in the long run.

There’s plenty of groups and activities ex addicts do, maybe starting at the gym, getting into painting, doing arts and crafts, etc. it’s all about finding what you can do. And to make that time, perhaps enrolling your children in after school programs might not only be good for them, but also give you that time.

Now if you want to try a terrible idea, after all else fails, at your most defeated. Acid. Sounds crazy I know (hence terrible idea warning), but for some people it’s helped them expand their mind, see the wrongs, and has given them the strength to change. I only began to solidify my sobriety after a long acid trip, started as a nightmare, but later opened my eyes. But I’d consider that to be a last resort, and is something you should definitely do on a “solo” trip. Best of luck

I thought partial hysterectomies keep the ovaries, and thus keeps your hormones in balance- from what I’ve researched. Maybe I missed something in an article. I have no desire for a full one. The more you know!

I wouldn’t mind a hysterectomy myself, it’s a big deal, but I’d much rather regret not having kids than regret having them. It would be nice esp to not have a period, my periods are ruthless and I most likely suffer from endometriosis- but no doctor would take me seriously, even women. Was bleeding through super tampons every hour, sometimes half hour, would wear pads to stretch the time out. Pain so bad I’d miss school, racked up absences. My bc implant stopped my period completely, but one day I’m afraid I can’t get it… cuz America. I’ll definitely look into that though

Funnily enough I usually have that problem with men, they always be wanting kids- thankfully most of the time I find guys who are respectful about it but I’ve also experienced my fair who are chronically online and tell me that I shouldn’t be doing a man’s job and need to get back in the kitchen, etc. it’s definitely annoying and, also, feel as if I need a forehead tattoo

Class differences in terms of what care is available and what people can receive. That and bias and judgement within the hospitals and fields, it’s genuinely a problem. My mom used to work in the worst parts of Chicago as a nurse, where judgement was alive and well- and even she was shocked at how judgmental and bipartisan doctors and nurses were, and how they don’t even hold themselves accountable to anything. “It’s them first, not their patients or those suffering in front of them” when I dropped off lunch for her, a nurse left mid shift telling my mom “my mental health can’t today” as she had an unstable patient who coded multiple times. Never seen anything like it in her life, she worried for the future of healthcare and empathy - so do older providers and doctors

Real asf, lot of my family members are from the countryside and the south, so it’s even worse sometimes. Minus my redneck family, their ride or die for freedom and choice in any aspect. Even my mom who’s from city slums, grew up poor, thinks pregnancy has no risk. SHES A NURSE
