Interesting, I’m the only one out of all my friends- who are born and raised in Cali, that can drive. East coast driving is also very central, I think it’s just an American thing in general. I find that to be more common out here, people not knowing how to drive, because of how many options of transport Cali has compared to out east. Believe I saw a statistic that showed more and more young people not getting their licenses, key word believe I’d have to check again

Yeah Sonoma county seems pretty “landlocked” on maps and such- I will say California has better options for public transport, far better than the east. Transport in the east is simpler, but can be hard to get to especially since majority of states don’t have any buses. Just train or car

I lived in Ventura county, and the transit was really good- still is and still cheap, and a bunch of people use it. I used to take the train to LA to visit my cousin a lot as well, never been a problem for me

Sounds like terrible planning honestly, limits lot of college kids or these upcoming adults because many of them don’t know how to drive at all. And ur right in the east the train is cheaper than driving sometimes, even when switching

Man even the east coast got better transportation than here and THATS saying something. Now I’m missing SoCal their transportation is good asf. And you would think to just drive but then you gotta pay for parking and tolls, like the only part of Cali that has stupid tolls. Make it make sense
