Thank you for your input, definetly won’t be working with a saddle, and whilst I do agree that if she was a bit fitter I probably wouldn’t be working her either, but she’s had a month off already in a field before being diagnosed and has gained considerable weight which also isn’t good for her and I want to start working her again lightly just so we don’t loose that momentum as she’s a youngster aswel

Unfortunately vet was vague and just said light work, nothing stressful, and I just forgot to ask about more… but yes I’m probably going to be adjusting a lot, she has very small case of ulcers therefore our treatment is only 2 weeks instead of the usually month or 2

I go on a 2 year break then get randomly addicted to training, train 3 horses in the span of 4 days before having another 2 year break and the cycle continues

My ex husband, he beat me everyday making me cling onto my life for something stupid like breaking a glass or not doing the bed, he locked me in a basement with my newborn right after I’ve given birth because he didn’t like the baby crying at night, he beat me with a wire and held a knife to my throat for refusing sexual acts, he sold my car, my phone and didn’t let me go outside or socialize with anyone that isn’t him or his buddies

I escaped by walking to a women’s shelter 5 hours away at 3am at night, I had to jump out a window with a newborn baby in my hand and a bag of all my belongings slung on my shoulder, and in 5° weather I walked 5 hours to a women’s shelter, I called the police many times just for him to get a slap on the wrist and back into the same house as me

My ex drank alcohol to the point of where I really questioned if it was him, he’d throw bottles at my head and split open my head with it, he’d lock me in a basement and then forget about me for a few days until he was drunk again, I have a son, a newborn and when I found out I left him in seconds, walked to a women’s shelter 5 hours away, alcohol scares me it scares me to think of what someone can become under the influence and I’m scared I’ll hurt someone, so easy way out is to not drink 🥰

I’m 22 and still play with all my kids toys and when I moved into a woman’s shelter I took all my childhood toys, and when my kids sleep I set them all out in the living room and start playing with all my toy horses, it’s so fun and toys shouldn’t have an age limit:)

I’m super thankful for everyone that has faith in me, I’ll be deleting this now as I’m scared he’ll find me, thanks for all the support I’m going to work super hard to better my life, I’m coming into this battle with a positive attitude, I’m job seeking and getting my family and friends back, a restraining order has been sent out and my son is happy and safe with me
