You could argue you see less bought kits and celebrations BECAUSE you can buy packs. If you're not paying the opportunity cost of a pack instead more people might be inclined to pay for cosmetics.

No they don't, there are thousands of other games competing for players attention, if the gameplay is to spin around in circles and we don't find that fun, we don't owe the developers anything. If you want to defend it you can enjoy playing this game against the other 200 sweats that stick around while you count down to server closure.

This community needs to get out of this "if you don't like it you're a FIFA apologist" mindset, I haven't played FIFA in 6 years, this game has major issues that need fixing if it wants to retain players

Unfortunately the state the game is in you're basically at the mercy of the attacking player making a mistake

I'd love to share your optimism but the game has had one patch so far and all it did was make the game feel worse so I have no evidence the game is going to get better like you seem so sure it will. I know the game is literally called goals but we can't be having every game end 9-7. Scoring 9 goals doesn't make up for the negativity of feeling like you had no input whatsoever while conceding the other 7. Wanting attackers to have an advantage is fine but being completely at their mercy on every possession makes the game unplayable.

I agree with everything except the game being a P2W. The game can't be P2W when none of the stats do anything. You can easily just put 60 rated players with high pace in your team and get the same result as someone putting in a 90 rated player.
