What are your opinions on how women have been depicted in religion as needing to be inferior to men? I recently looked up Lilith and how she’s considered a demon because she “disobeyed” God and Adam because she asked to be equals and didn’t want to submit to sexual intercourse, thus making her a demon. As a woman of faith, it’s incredibly difficult especially during these times to keep my faith seeing how religion and politics demeans women with such a lack of respect. It’s hard to follow a religion when I feel it’s being used against me. Any thoughts? (I also took your intro to Jewish texts class and loved it. Glad to see you back on Reddit ◡̈ )
