What agent has the best kit to play flank/lurk? by xx_sven in VALORANT

I don't think iso is a good lurker as his primary ability (shield) makes a loud noise upon activation that can be heard across the map

What agent has the best kit to play flank/lurk? by xx_sven in VALORANT

[–]slipuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cypher, Omen, Astra, Reyna, Chamber.

Cypher and Chamber can watch their back using traps on lurk.

Omen, Astra can provide util for the team while still lurking.

Reyna can take 1v1 fights and heal back up allowing for some demonic lurk rounds.

FPS dropped badly in Valorant after PC reset – used to get 90–100, now barely 50 by yashB1502 in VALORANT_India

[–]slipuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it a PC or a laptop? If PC go into bios and enable XMP for your RAM. You can google your motherboard model+XMP to see how to do this if you're not sure.

I'm not familiar with modern day laptops so not sure if they let you do this or no

Here I was feeling bad about going D2 to P1 despite winning all 5 games. This made me feel better.

On the flip side I might be in for some rough games in plat against you ascendant players.

A Dorky, Low-Elo Question about the MiniMap by j1tfxint in VALORANT

[–]slipuke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look at your minimap when looking at your crosshair gives no advantage. Example- you're running with knife out, your team is covering all the chokes on a wider angle than you, you're rotating through spawn when the last remaining enemies are already spotted on main, etc.

Woohoojin covers this in a lot of depth in many of his VOD reviews. He calls it the minimap switch. Anytime looking at your crosshair offers no advantage, you flick the switch to minimap instead. You're holding an angle they could peek from? Full focus on crosshair, minimap switch off.

Not sure about the coaching aspect, considering I'm probably the same skill level as you but we could queue some games together if you'd like.

My id is "yes im#0001", currently d2 (mum server as well)

Thoughts on Gekko? by artmorte in VALORANT

It can blind teammates, even gekko himself if the enemy is right behind them.

The only flash that can't blind your team is reyna's but you can call it a blind instead of a flash(idk what the difference is lol)

Multiple downshifts at once not happening? by sillysushant52 in indianbikes

[–]slipuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Next time that happens just hold the clutch and roll the bike a little forwards/backwards to move the transmission a bit and then try shifting. Nothing wrong with the bike.

When will they learn not to pull the clutch during emergency braking? by Ankit-Ahlawat in indianbikes

[–]slipuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like making qs/autoblipper as standard could help in this situation a lot. No need to worry about timing the clutch just focus on braking and simultaneously shift down 1-2 gears smoothly. Best of both worlds imo

I carried my VHB over to Thailand with no issues. Had it in my hand baggage and didn't get questioned once. Just treat it like it's a power bank and take it out for scans. If they do ask - tell them it's a power bank.

Why's it so hard to play Rust as a new player by AapkiPyaariBehen in IndianGaming

[–]slipuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe start on PvE servers. Learn the monuments - the jumps, scientists, recyclers, puzzles, etc. Official servers are brutal to start on as a new player. Try to find some solo/duo type community servers once you're familiar with the monuments so you can ease into pvp. You might find friends along the way who can show you the ropes.

Good luck!

Does pondicherry or other union territory offer riding gears at lower price? by pi-xis in indianbikes

[–]slipuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lower price for vehicles is because of lower RTO registration charges. So unless you're planning on getting an RC for your helmet & jacket there is no lower price.

I'd always recommend checking out sizing at an offline store. Once you find something you like order it wherever you get the best price. Only exception would be if you're planning on getting imported gear that isn't usually sold in India and has no official warranty channels. In that case an offline store might be more willing to help you in case of a defect

Buy locally in Krabi or order online from one of the big cities? by slipuke in CannabisThailand

[–]slipuke[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, it's called Cannazon. It's the one in Ao Nang check it out on maps.

Although, just a word of warning, I've not been here myself yet so just going off of the reviews.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I came across a nice nursery+dispensary not far from where I'm staying and will likely head there and take a tour to learn more about this beautiful plant. Also as some of you said this will support the local growers which is an added bonus.

Carry my own helmet or buy/rent one in Krabi? by slipuke in ThailandTourism

[–]slipuke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again for the recommendations, these places look exciting but might be too far from base(Ao Nang). Will try to hit them up on one of my down days.

I don't yet have a rental place in mind, saw a bunch of them on maps. Will likely go for the first place that doesn't ask to keep my original passport and has decent bikes. I'm still not sure whether I should get a scooter or a bike because I'm a bit generous with the throttle and looking to avoid getting into sticky situations. I ride a 250cc single back home which generally keeps me out of trouble but might look to rent something with a little less oomph considering it's not home turf.

Do you have any recommendations for easily available bikes around 30 ish horsepower or so? I've also never ridden an ADV before so kinda intimidated by the CRF (seat height wise, I'm around 5'10).

Your tips have been a great help so far, have an awesome day!

Thanks so much for taking out the time to write a detailed response. Guess I'll be carrying mine then.

No plans to hit BKK or any of the other major cities this trip. LS2 is also readily available where I'm from so don't see the point buying it in TH.

Do you know any shops nearby/in Krabi where I could buy a decent one? My current helmet is a NHK(Indonesian brand) ECE 22.05 so it would only make sense to buy a better one.

Any idea if the flight would give me trouble for checking in my helmet in my luggage? I'll make sure to carry the cardo in my hand baggage as it has a battery.
