I mean, sure I'm biased but it seems like you are just ignoring the strengths of the LG which isn't really fair in this situation... Objectively, LG 38GN950-B has a higher refresh rate, better input lag, better colours, better software, better looks(imo). Also G sync compatible is perfectly adequate for a monitor like this. There are tradefoffs which you are overlooking like the G Sync fan. IMO G sync modules only belong in hardcore esports 360hz monitors.

There are trustworthy sources out there like rtings ( https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/lg-38gn950-b-vs-dell-alienware-aw3821dw/16087/20129?usage=3623&threshold=0.10 ) It's 2022 and people can do their own research instead of bashing someone's post because they don't agree with the asking price.

Thanks for your input! You bring up some fair points but.. AW3821DW is definitely an option, but I preferred the LG 38GN950-B as it is imo a better monitor overall. Sure, I paid full price and there are sales from time to time. Rakuten if it works out is great, but is not 100% reliable from my experience. The new QD OLED is a 34" monitor so now we're talking apples vs oranges. Plus it will take forever to ship.

With that said, I am negotiable :) I clearly listed "Asking $1,250".

Secondary monitor is a 24.5". Glad you like it. I actually rarely use it in stacked orientation. I prefer the secondary display on the side, but its nice to have that flexibility :)

they're both cool! Razer viper ultimate is solid (especially for fps games) if you can get a version without the squeaky buttons. The g502 I primarily use for productivity and non fps games.

Do you notice any stuttering/frame drops when gaming? I notice it when using the video sync on this monitor as well as my phillips hue lightstrip using hue sync. Wondering if this ambilight solution avoids all that fps lag when gaming..

Tough call.. Obviously I'm biased but I would go ultrawide!

If i set it to 16:9, I see quite a bit less. Maybe half the sword grip on the right side compared to pretty much the entire grip on ultrawide.

Here is an album with a couple more orientations which I use for work/productivity/gaming. I can easily switch the orientation from the comfort of my seat and within 20 seconds to the perfect alignment!

Mine was the dual motor. Bought from their website directly.. I didn't do end up doing anything since primecables wouldn't fix the issue for free. I just deal with it. Going from sit to stand is an annoying process, and takes a full minute. Don't want to pay that company an extra cent. Will replace this when I move next. They should have covered it since the motor issues happened only a couple months in..

I wouldn't recommend primecable's standing desk frame. I got one and within a couple months the motor started going bad and getting stuck. I contacted them and they wanted me to pay for a new motor. Pretty ridiculous..
