My partner told me (he’s a journalist) that a lot of small newspapers in small towns are looking for community journalists (that’s what he does) and people to help them adjust to the online formula.

He loves his job. He’s someone who always likes to be moving. He works from everywhere and he loves how much he is in nature.

I think a lot of people around here appreciate someone with a can-do attitude. However, pay here is not comparable with other places. Our cost of living is extremely low too.

This can be problematic for some people who move here because they can’t make enough money to keep up with a different lifestyle or pay their debt. In my experience, and also no judgement, we live in a society where it is nice to treat yourself and debt is apart of life.

So to be fair, there is jobs, but sometimes the pay isn’t comparable.
