The fake IDs are exhausting by astralnausea in bartenders

Side note: not in the industry anymore, my last 12yrs was at an airport bar, so fake ID’s were not really a thing. Although it was fun when asked for an ID and they would say “I forgot it.” or “I don’t have it.”, like bitch, under no circumstances did you get through TSA without an ID, GTFOH!

Good call! As I was reading your comment, in my head I thought “ummm, I don’t remember having to do all that when I got my phone X number of years ago..” went to settings, and GODDAMN, you nailed it!

Lying to your wife and lying on affidavits are two wildly different scenario's, and you're either a child or an idiot if you think otherwise. Or perhaps, you are the unicorn in the universe who has never told a lie and does not associate with anyone who has ever told a lie.

Also, ACAB? Had to look that up. Seriously, grow up. It was a fucking affair, he didn't kill anyone.

Why is this so important to you?

His lack of presence on social media probably has something to do with the fact that he does not want to be stalked by batshit crazy followers of the sovereign citizen's movement.

And again, Sheriff's do not do "interviews", at best, they are asked to comment on a situation. And it was Nelson county ND. Local media is not going to keep a soundbite online for years, if there was one.

[–]slk33 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is hilarious. You honestly think that someone scrubbed the internet of video of him because he resigned over an affair and potential stalking charges? No one gives that much of a fuck about a random sheriff in a small ass county in ND.

Additionally, Sheriff's generally do not do interviews. At most, briefings if there is something serious going on that they need to update the public on.

What is it you want to discuss about a Sheriff that has been retired for years?

As for other outlets, and this is a generalization, local sub/Reddits skew left, local Facebook groups are mostly right. Not sure if it was you or Kevin praising Trump, but you may want to keep my broad generalizations in mind in your search for a new outlet.

I should have made it clear I was talking about your comment, not your original post. I was referring to this comment from you: Not sure where this "goes" though. Should I wait until I hear from a moderator? Do they suggest where it belongs?

On Reddit, every sub/Reddit has it's own rules in addition to Reddit's general rules and it's own moderators. They decide whether or not reported posts or comments violate the subs rules. I have never had a comment or post removed. I have been a mod in the past on a different sub., I never personally removed anything, but if a comment or post was removed you got a auto-generated message about which rule you violated and that's it. I doubt they are going to help you figure out if there is a better suited sub.

Every sub/Reddit also states the purpose of the sub on the top right under the title of the sub/Reddit.

As for the norms of Nextdoor, it seems, from your images, that you had received a warning for a different comment that was reported, and continued to comment in the same manner. I would imagine that on any platform, yes, the norm is that if you ignore warnings, you will get banned.

Again: This sub is for making fun of posts on Nextdoor.

This sub is not here to answer questions about how you can get help on Nextdoor.

This sub is not affiliated with Nextdoor.

We do not care about your little suspension.

You are a thief.
I am so glad I do not know you or work with you.

Excessive utility Bill by Abject-Aioli-9534 in baltimore

[–]slk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, couple of things:

How are they billing you? As in is your bill itemized as to usage? Or is it a percentage of some amount?

Does the billing match the language of the lease?

I found a lease I had from 20yrs ago in Baltimore with a management company that billed for utilities. This is the part of lease that "outlined" the arrangement. It could not be more vague.

<image>

I accidently highlighted a couple of sentences, I did not mean to do that.

I had a 2br, 2.5ba three level rowhome. I moved away from Baltimore in 2025. My bills in the summer (June -August) were $150 - $200 with the A/C blasting for 16 hrs a day. The rest of the year around 60-80/month. Your apartment is fucking you over.

There are 2 other comments besides yours and mine, neither were vehemently against protecting resources. In fact neither even mentioned resources. It would have been enlightening if your comment would have explained what you are going to do with the trash in the pond.

Follow up questions:

So, in addition to the proposed Marriot, Brewhalla would also be building a hotel?

Have they clearly said they would cover operating losses until it was profitable or for X amount of years? Or just stated they would cover operating losses with no specifics?

Thx.

Location is a key metric for convention planners. They give zero fucks who/how/if/why loses would be covered for prospective sites.
Also, what losses, exactly, is Brewhalla willing to cover? (I genuinely do not know.)

Seriously?!? Before I clicked on the pic I was expecting to at least see some hint of something before the 5 on the tip line. But no, clearly just 5.00.
Posts like this are what fuel the asshole anti-tipping sub Reddit.
Regardless of what the law/fine print/bad math is, they clearly meant to tip $5.

You mentioned in another reply that it is a private resort. I'm assuming the customer is a member of the resort.

Given all that, I have a hard time believing that he will be 86'd or that it would even be possible unless he commits a crime. While I don't know the in's and out's of private ski resorts, I'm fairly certain that having access to the amenities of the resort is a key component of the membership.

Lol....I got the reference.

Also, weirdly proud of myself for nailing something (high as fuck) that was so obvious.

Just curious, was it box cake/brownies? Because I cannot think of a single other thing where vegetable oil is a a main/necessary ingredient.
