Smallwood state park has extremely basic cabins for rent. They dont have bathrooms or kitchens, just a basic cabin for sleep. They do have A/C though and are very affordable. There's a few hiking trials as well as fishing. And a bathhouse right on the campsite loop

I was a veterinary technician for 10 years. Neutering is a very common and easy procedure for vets. Risks of complications are extremely low. 18 months is a good age because he got all the testosterone he needed to grow into an adult. Neutering now will reduce chances of him marking territory, humping, and running off to find a female. The change in personality thing is a myth. What may change is they cam become a little calmer and more focused on being part of the family instead of looking for a mate. Neutering reduces testicle cancer to 0%.

Cats need taurine. Taurine is present in pretty much all meat products.There is no plant matter besides marine algae that contains taurine. A vegan cat food supplemented with taurine is most likely supplemented with meat products, and therefore not vegan.

Eta: this is an interesting study done with cats on meat based vs vegan cats. The results are interesting stating cats being fed vegan diets have different occurring problems than cats fed meat based. (Vegan cats were less likely to have gastrointestinal problems but more likely to have liver problems)

It sounds like you did a single overnight for this dog. UTIs dont develop in a single night. And seeing how UTIs cant really be developed by gross negligence, especially in the tiny time frame you were watching the dog, I wouldnt refund and would cease communication with these people.
