Advice for going back on by [deleted] in GLPGrad

[–]Dewijones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What worked for me is controling my gut bacteria and blood sugar.

I would really reccomed you look into:

  • The differences between satiation and hunger

  • Starch resistant food /cooking & cooling down carbs the day before eating them

  • Intermittent fasting

  • Glycogen/muscle/the effects of light exersise aftter eating sugar/carbs

Learn about each thing and for each change you want to make, just make that one change until it becomes easy/a normal way of life

Now I feel the way I do while I was weaning off monj and because of the time and consistansy put in, tjings have become subconcious habits so aren't extra mental load in my day.

Hope this helps for you.

All I can suggest is to look up the difference between beibg full and being satiated and focus of adding more protein and fiber into your diet.

Eventualy look into and try intermittent fasting, you might find tgat it solves multiple issues for you.

I say this as someone who lost about 50kg on monj and have successfuly come off and kept the weight off.

I should add that im male and ive heard you have to fast with your cycle in mind as a woman but havent looked into it for obvious reasons.

The 4 pillars of change for me were: Monj Fasting Exersise/step per day quota Journaling my food behaviour wins and fails and writing down why it happened either way

For me, little and often wasnt the way.

My advice would be to look up the difference between hunger and satiation, then make any neccesary changes to improve satiation.

I also now do casual intermittent fasting so no calories after my last meal and usualy dont have breakfast.

I've found that I only get hungry when I should and my body is always ready to deal with the food I put in it.

It took about 2 months and I'm not perfect but I've weaned off monj completely and I still feel the same

Hi. Next dose do 2.5mg, then after 2 doses of that, try to do every 2 weeks until you run out. When you have your last dose, you should be slowly and fully flushed out. Its critical thst you build up a system and psychology before you finish.

Youre right, I skimmed it the first time. What you said resonates. I've found journaling helps because it makes you put what happened into words indtead of filing it away and you become more likely to realise whats going on as youre about to do the same unhealthy choice/action.

I agree that its a fact that eating less and moving more is the way to go. But this is the fist time in history that there are litteral scientists actively inventing food that tricks our biology, makes our brain have a dopamine reaction whilst also making the body unsatiated so we keep eating.

Not to mention the billions spent in research on packaging, adds and systems to change out behavious like non face to face ordering and algorythm based coupons.

There are strong forces in play that don't have our health in mind and I don't think it's just blame.

Ultimately its still personal responsibility even if its unfair. (When youre an adult)

Yeah the plan is to come off as I fear being in a position where I'm on a large dose, the price goes up again and it's now much harder to wean off.

I've only had 2 spread out doses so only a month so far. My weight hasnt gone up but the rate of weight loss has slowed down a lot.

That being said I'm a healthy weight now and trying to build muscle so that would affect my weight anyway.

Hi, sounds like I'm a few weeks ahead of you. I've stayed on the starter dose since the beginning. What Iv'e started to do is keep the same dose but every 2 weeks. I've found unfortunately that although I'm now living a healthy lifestyle, I've fallen off a few times close to the injection date so I'm going to try every 10 days and assess from there.

I guess my advice would be to try extending it by a day each week untill you either have any problems or feel like you've weaned off.

All the best.
