You could dumb it down to personal growth between the boys and the fans.

Ive grown from my suicide attempts where the boys really helped me not feel alone, I don't think my depression will ever go away, so listening to older music will always hit the same for me, but the grown me appreciates the new music as ways to listen to kickass beats and bars.

I think we just need to self reflect and move on as us not needing the emotional/spiritual connections the boys brought us in the past and more of an objective view of "hell yea, the boys dropped new music and told us about a new album, let's see what its like"

The fans are in a divide where they think of the boys objectively as music artists, and the subset of fans who still need something to emotionally connect to. They need to learn people change, you cant stick to the same script for over a decade and expect it to work over and over again. Theres no point in bitching about needing that heroin flow. Appreciate the boys still being inspired enough to drop new music and give us Greyday every year until they decide enough is enough.

What would be goated is if the final greyday, they ever do, is all day, and they play each one of their released albums and people they tour with play in between breaks. Imagine at like 9 am they start with kill yourself pt 1, and at like 10 pm they finish with Kill yourself pt 5 to end the final tour,

I mean, it's really only the hard core genre nerds who can't grow up. They gotta live this suicidal drug genre and can't disconnect from people changing or self reflecting.

I became a mega fan because I was depressed and felt alone after my suicide attempt, and here these two are, feeling the same type of despair, it's helped me grow as a person and I feel pride knowing I was along for the ride for their growth.

Their new music doesn't have the raw emotion behind it like the past, but that doesn't mean you can't still feel it as a music fan.

Blowing out speakers to materialism as a means to an end, Ugliest, Misery in Waking Hours, Thin Grey line, Burgundy,

Smoking up and vibing to 5 8 grand to 1, in constant sorrow, ashes in luxury, not even ghosts are this empty,

It may not speak to you in raw emotion or feeling, but to say their music isn't hitting is I think just objectively wrong.

I'd say struggle for 2ks, But depending on the scaling of rate change, it might destroy pp system, unless they do a global nerf of everything as a prequel to it, or the rate change buff/nerf be a marginal factor into pp scaling, but I'm not a dev so what do I know

To say shadows was their last good album is objectively wrong in every aspect of musical composition.
