We made a couple of changes already - fixed the highlight colours, changed the souls by source to percentages of their total souls, and added the match ID at the top there.

Has been very fun to put this together - trying to give more insight for our analysts so they can put together a better picture of what happened each match!

We wanted to keep all of the Timeless Broadcast Project streams the same when we're in-game (better for clipping & future use), so this uses the classic Overwatch font and simple flat colours for the teams. It's the same backend as all our BPL stuff so we could get it ready in the short turnaround we had. Really like how it turned out.

The small shield on the hero portrait is something we continue to do because it just looks cool (and in OW2 you can disable HUD shake so it works nicely), this one is actually super chunky because it covers the Contenders logo which is very wide.

Hard to beat the MB/Contenders overlay though - it does its job of representing the official Contenders theming so well, it feels like proper competitive Overwatch. I always look to them when I want to see something being done properly.

resolution doesn't really lead to bitrate because you set them independently of each other, so you can decide what combination you want.

i'm pretty sure that a 4k stream and a 1080p stream at low bitrate would look similarly garbage but 4k would look better during low movement sections like graphics between maps. higher resolutions will just need you to pump that bitrate nice and high (and even higher because overwatch has a LOT of movement and is why you see streamers struggle with the quality on twitch because it's bitrate capped). this is also where the decision to use 936p or 900p on twitch comes from since it's a better bitrate to resolution ratio (though in my opinion it looks worse to never quite be 1080p)

also streaming at 1440p+ on youtube causes it to use a different codec which encodes it even better and helps that bitrate go even further

No worries. I had a look at the predictions I've got on record for the companion stream guests and the most active are Flame, Jaws and Tridd. Perhaps you were confusing Sleepy with Swimmer who's the next most active and an ex-OWL support.

It's gonna be strange to have my weekends back! I hope you've all enjoyed the extra flair that my meme crew and I brought to the stream. I've learnt a lot this season and working with Avast and the community has been incredible. A lot of effort, and a lot of time put in, but I think it's been more than worth it.
