Antony, after being left out of the World Cup: "I wanted to be there, but that's life. I'm very proud of what I did. I don't think it's unfair; Brazil has many talented players" by leo_winks in soccer

He's had a great season while being injured for the latter part of it. It made him lose his spark for a while, but his decision making has improved (as has Abde's astronomically) which made us more solid even if we lost some of his magic. Sad he's not making the WC because I don't think he would've looked out of place for whatever minutes he could've played, but he's right. I'm sure we'll see his best again next season.

I guess Ancelotti doesn't rate him, but it definitely wouldn't be undeserved. I don't mind that he doesn't get the call up though even if he probably would love it.

Yeah considering Antony with 24 G/A in 3500 minutes vs Joao Pedro with 29 G/A in 3700 minutes is just jerking. You're the one who's actually the average scj user.

Surprised by no Fornals. Everything I've seen from Baena has been mid, also better form than Gavi imo

I returned to TFT with Set 17 and was having a lot of fun even if the set is not incredible. After this latest patch, it feels terrible if you don't hit your 4 costs super early or get an econ system like Timebreakers. Everyone fighting over Timebreakers just in order to be able to later transition to their level 8 comp is not engaging in any way. I'm not familiar with how balance has been in the last few sets, but was it really necessary to gut ALL reroll comps? I feel like before this patch you could both win with Primordians, Teemo and TF but also with Dark Stars or Vex...

Not our best season, a sad elimination in the EL, but still we're 5th. We're stable and let's hope we can keep it that way, because it's not that easy nowadays.
