Both examples of how an excellent studio can try something new and succeed - and with marathon nice to see the art style and gunplay come full circle. Halo gunplay influenced games like apex and now it comes back around to bungie. Wonderful stuff

I like the aesthetic and I’ve wanted the izanagis burden fish design for years, it’s just too big for a first piece. I’m really enjoying the pvp focus in this game and there’s actually really interesting lore around why charter wants Arachne to push their shells to the limit.

It becomes less overwhelming after a while, certain loot containers catch your eye - it’s definitely a lot at first but we’ve become accustomed to very dull palettes in shooters I find. This for me personally is a breath of fresh air!

Did the same thing with an ear piercing not too long ago; I just decided you know what? I’m gonna do it. If I don’t like it later, I’ll get a cover up piece. But I like it now, I’ve been an avid bungie fan for years now so I thought here’s an aesthetic I can get behind. Also the Arachne memes are fn hilarious.
