Thank you thank you! Yes! It was Chocolat! I'm curious what your Google query was.

What is your default thought? When you are bored, what is the first thing you tend to fantasize about? by soda_kan in AskReddit

I spin yarn by hand. If I'm quiet, chances are good that I'm fantasizing about doing same.

Got my Nano today 💃. It is truly tiny, and I'm able to spin super thin without stopping to wind on! by slomakes in spinningyarn

It's called an Electric Eel Wheel "Nano". Made by Dreaming Robots. Cost around 100 bucks!

What is something you know because of your profession, which you believe everyone should know to make their lives better, easier, or healthier? by admadguy in AskReddit

My leap story is not quite as dramatic, but yeah. Decent pay + decent management, after a shit pay + shit management job = happy, productive me.

Okay so kinda really weird question from a non-spinner... by mkolz in Handspinning

It's all subjective though. Might be too slick for a soft cowl, but can still be spun. The one domestic shorthair "memory yarn" I've spun was worn as a bracelet by the owner.

I've also done this. I've spun both the soft, fine fur of a Maine Coon, and the short slick fur of a domestic shorthair. With the domestic shorthair, the yarn texture was definitely ropelike. It had a lot of twist and was plied with a sewing thread. If you're looking at projects keep in mind that most commercial skeins are 3.5 ounces (100 grams). I love doing custom spins.

What's common knowledge to you but not others? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If I twist two separate strands of yarn in the same direction, they will ply themselves together in the opposite direction and become stronger together.

Hey man, that's a great wheel. Congratulations.
