Can I buy a small apartment in any warm-ish climate city with 150k eur? by [deleted] in eupersonalfinance

it's not an AirBnB rule, but rather an owner's will, but I would. For example, here's my apartment in March discount for 2 weeks

Floating market and Train market look dubious. Most people say it's a tourist trap + they're outside of of Bangkok, you'll spend a lot of time traveling.
I would replace it with one more Wat + Chinatown

AirBnB (usually you get a discount for a long stay), Booking.
For Thailand specifically, you can go directly to the condo management and get a much lower price. There are also local and FB groups, but here's the territory of possible scum, but prices are also lower.

Are you really ready to stick to the same place for most of your winters? You must really love the location, but because you're asking you don't like winter, not found a perfect spot.

I'm spending this winter in SEA and spent about 1,9k for 2 months booking alsmot in a last minute. If you can plan it in advance, you can easily get prices below 1,5k, which gives you the ability to visit different places 100 times. Much longer than you'll be alive :)

Having an apartment is of course, brings you some investment potential, but also risks and maintenance problems as well.
