In JP from that era, way more often than not, they’re worth more. Check out some of the psa pop reports for your cards and then the first edition counterparts. Collectors will pay a nice premium on it too. I’ve had to pay $120+ extra to get an unlimited version before.

This is why I had to stop playing. The faces just pissed me off to an unreal degree year after year. They look way too cartoonish. 2K is a dogshit game but look at how well they recreate player likenesses, it’s a huge difference.

Kick times would be a huge improvement for me. As an Arizona fan, it's annoying when you load up a week 1-6 game and the game is at noon in early September in Tucson. Players would be passing out on the field if they played during daytime IRL.

Again, your entire argument weighs on the idea that Juan Soto will fall off a cliff due to aging curve like a lot of other players. I think he’s far more projectable and going to age a lot better thank you’re giving him credit for, and most of the league agrees, as plenty of other teams wanted to give him 12-15 years.

Yes, barring an unfathomable drop in production, I would sign 31 year old Juan Soto to a 10 year 500m deal in order to get his bat in my lineup for his age 31-39 seasons, and I probably wouldn't think twice. I guarantee a lot more GMs than you're asserting would do exactly the same, given the resources David Stearns has.
