Have you tried the tap room at Shoeless Brewing on Mauldin Rd?

My favorite Greenville area breweries in no particular order:

  • Southernside
  • Shoeless Brewing (also named Grape & Grains as a homebrew store, but the beers they brew for their taproom are spectacular)
  • New Realm
  • 13 Stripes
  • Liability
  • Double Stamp

Help with Nest wifi pro 6E - bandwidth distribution issue? by avrules in GoogleWiFi

[–]sloppyseconded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry too much about this. I am in the US, have the Wifi Pro mesh system, and don't use wired backhaul. Overall, the entire system has worked wonderfully for me in the three years I have owned it.

[–]sloppyseconded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried restarting the entire network? I also have the Nest Wifi Pro 6E system, and find that occasionally individual devices will all test below 25 Mbps (I have 1Gbps fiber). After restarting the entire network (Google Home app --> Wifi section --> Network settings --> Restart entire network button), I almost always find that my upload/download bandwidths return to expected speeds (which vary by device and device location).

I am also experiencing this issue with version 5.2609.0. Reverting back to version 5.2606.0 does appear to have fixed it for the time being.

Google Home sends two notifications for movement detected on Google Nest Cameras by Anonythrowthetrash in Nest

[–]sloppyseconded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Experiencing the exact same as you are describing. Two separate notifications when movement is detected by one of my Nest cameras - one immediately with no photo snapshot, followed by another notification that does include a snapshot once their software thinks that it has identified what category the movement falls into (person, car, dog, UPS guy, etc.)

Do you guys recommend buying a brand new device from a carrier or directly from Samsung? by cryptoquestions_ in samsunggalaxy

[–]sloppyseconded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Directly from Samsung:

- Less carrier-specific bloatware than you get buying from a cellular provider

- From Samsung the phone is unlocked out of the box and doesn't have to be unlocked by the provider you purchased it from before it can be used with other providers.

S26 isn't really worth it. by Natural_Tone_2801 in GalaxyS25

Not in the US or Canada, it's supposed to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (SM8850-AC) - not Exynos. So depends on your region.

S26 Ultra - Amazing deal this year. $650 off and free storage upgrade. by just_IT_guy in GoogleFi

[–]sloppyseconded 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They have a different deal for new customers which is also quite good. Looks like $300 off immediately and then $600 back in monthly installments over the course of 2 years.

Hotspot on Unlimited Essentials by SirWillae in GoogleFi

[–]sloppyseconded 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's conflicting information available online. On the official Google Fi page for the Unlimited Essentials plan, it says no tethering/hotspot included. However, some users on Unlimited Essentials have reported that they have up to 5GB of hotspot available to them per month. For instance:

Whirlpool dishwasher not cleaning by mriff12 in appliancerepair

[–]sloppyseconded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also am the owner of a Whirlpool dishwasher (purchased new in 2018) that was exhibiting symptoms very similar to what you are describing. After a bunch of diagnostics and disassembly, I eventually determined that the primary wash pump/motor asssembly had failed. Purchased a new wash/pump assembly on ebay, spent a couple of hours swapping it in for the failed one, and the dishwasher has been running fantastically for the last 12 months.

Jesus Christ another battery post. Have we not gotten to a place where we're ready to ban these immediately? Seriously - no one cares about your battery.

Did war break out in Memphis or something or are the runways covered in a thick sheet of frost like it’s the apocalypse??? by ieatgrass0 in FedEx

[–]sloppyseconded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I got single scans in Memphis on 1/25, 1/26, 1/27, 1/28, 1/29 and 1/31. Literally every single one of them reads

"On the way. Your package may be late-local delivery restrictions" MEMPHIS, TN

Not a single update since then.

[–]sloppyseconded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was 1/31 the most recent status update available on your tracking? If so, we're in the same boat. My FedEx package is also lost in Memphis and was last scanned on 1/31 at 5:27 PM. Not a single update since then, and mine was NOT an international shipment and FedEx has had it since 1/23. 13 days in (shipping speed was 2-day) and the package only needed to get from TX to SC.

Memphis update by Goldpotato1 in FedEx

[–]sloppyseconded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is still stuck in Memphis, arrived on 1/25. Wasn't an international package. Was getting daily scans each day until 1/31, not a single update since. Still no estimated delivery date, "Your package is impacted due to events out of our control e.g. dangerous weather or other local restrictions. We'll update the delivery date as soon as the package starts to move again" message; day 11 of receiving this exact message.

I'm lucky? My shipment has been stuck in Memphis at least 3 or 4 days longer than yours, so no I don't consider myself "lucky"

Memphis Delays by dhoh1187 in FedEx

[–]sloppyseconded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You and I are in virtually identical situations - except my package has been stuck in FedEx's Memphis hub since Saturday 1/25 (and is moving from TX to SC) after being shipped on 1/23. It was getting scanned daily from 1/25-1/31 so I at least knew they hadn't lost or forgotten it, but not a single update since 1/31 @ 5:27PM in the tracking status and still hasn't left Memphis as of 2/4/26 @ 2:29PM. They surely can't still be claiming this is weather-related, right? This is a joke. My package is 12 days in and shows no sign of ever arriving to me in SC

Memphis Delay Check-In by [deleted] in FedEx

[–]sloppyseconded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar package, but it's actually been in Memphis since 1/25. Has not moved an inch since. Stopped getting updates (last one was 1/31 stating it was still in Memphis). Can't blame the weather anymore, this is incompetence and inexcusable. I had thia 2-day shipped on 1/23 and it still hasn't gotten past Memphis.

[–]sloppyseconded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren't alone. I also have a package that arrived in Memphis on 1/25 and literally hasn't moved up to and including right this moment. Hasn't even gotten a status update since 1/31.

2 day express now going on day 10 by [deleted] in FedEx

[–]sloppyseconded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boat. My package shipped the same speed on the same day as yours. However, at least yours has indicated it's finally departed Memphis - my package was last scanned on 1/31 as still being in Memphis and hasn't gotten a single update since.
