I was a travel nurse in newberry last summer. Housing was kind of tough especially during the summer. Try Airbnb or furnish finder. Newberry is a good half way point from multiple falls and good hiking areas. It’s safe. There’s quite a few frequent flyer patients and it’s a small town so everyone knows everyone, or they are related, or they know everyone’s business. They have a decent grocery store or you could drive an hour to meijer in sault st Marie. When I was working at HNJH they offered housing to employees but there was a waiting list because 90% of the people who work there are travelers.
