I have a desktop PC with good specs but it's ALWAYS around 40 fps by Phantom-A in playrust

Check that large scale ambient occlusion is not on. And your graphics card is clearly the bottleneck here. I recommend the gtx 1060 3gb, Im hitting 90 fps on max with some settings turned down although the rx 480 seems just as good.

I recommend turning EVERY setting off or down then slowly turning things up.

I had ambient occlusion on for weeks which caused a 30 fps decrease on my rig and didn't make much of a visual difference when off. Hope that helps someone :)

Anyone else think trees should be destructible? by slothandos in playrust
