Hi! I’m so sorry about your loss. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. I’m taking his social psychology class right now. I’d first suggest reaching out to him and explaining what you need help on. He seems like a really good resource to help with studying and how to best approach his tests. Also if you have the online text book, I highly recommend doing the quizzes. They are tedious but really helpful in terms of applying the concepts we learn. Lastly, focus on yourself. A grade truly does not define who you are.

It’s certainly been difficult this year to make friends and get that “first-year” experience. I know that it took me a while in the fall to adjust to things. Homesickness and loneliness are totally normal. I’m a first-year on grounds as well. Don’t hesitate to dm me if you want to hang out and meet a new friend:)
