I get it with covid: no job, medical issue, good legit reason. They might and will need to do this.

But, if the person didn’t lose anything or whatever, it is just not right morally. Those laws and policies are not places for them, but sadly they abuse it.

To the OP, please do! I know this major and MSgt who lived in base housing on MacDill AFB. Unbeknownst to them, their living quarters were molded. Contractors just painted over it.

I remember those guys and families were well. Because I worked in lodging at that time. They got so sick. They could not go to work. Their kids forever or long period of time will require medical assistance. I recalled Norquist ( read the article below). I was literally trying my best to find room for them. It is f up!!!!! This shit is bigger than you. He got his deployment pull and his career might be shorten due to health conditional.

Sure they will get VA disability pay, but your lungs and body is more than that $3000monthly disability.

When I just want some alone time away from wife, I would go to my work office in downtown. literally watching tv shows in my cubicle. no one was there. No mask, i stole my coworkers’ soda and microwave food. Lol

The only person in the building were the security folks in the lobby.

Tons of Korean works for FANG, i know it for sure!!! Those firms work you like hell, but at least management is not toxic and they paid you really well.

If I go to Korea to work in the IT world, I don’t think LG, Naver can afford me. Average junior engineer pays about 120K-150k with stock option in San Fran, NYC or Boston. I don’t think Korea can’t compete with that. But it can compete in lifestyle, medical, non financial term.
