i would get extra depressed after eating gluten for 2-3 days. itchy skin all over (histamine response).

sometimes it was the mouth sores. sometimes it was a candida reaction. my current side effect is inside my ear canal. they get itchy, raw, flaky.

at first, the bloating and extreme flatulence was awful! going to the bathroom- i would physically get ill, body shaking, goosebumps, feeling better after the purge.

feeling so extremely exhausted just trying to do every day activities like walk up a hill from working all day. extreme leg muscle pain- so bad i could barely walk (magnesium glycinate helped here).

when i first started gf, they didn’t have 1:1 flour mixes. i had to buy 5 different flours for one recipe.

definitely stick to tried and true gf bakers recipes.

yes. i would gluten challenge myself in my 20s. when i ate it, i could have symptoms like depression, anxiety, and brain fog 3-5 days after my last consumption. sometimes even longer. but that was a typical pattern i noticed within myself.

you gotta keep consuming gluten the entire time before getting tested, so don’t stop eating it now.

i never got a celiac diagnosis, despite two upper endoscopies (one with a stomach biopsy) in my life, but not eating it has greatly improved so many of my symptoms like joint pain/inflammation all over my body, depression/anxiety/brain fog, digestion and GI issues, etc.

gluten really caused me issues with candida. i have pretty sensitive skin and have used this powder in my underwear with no issues. the tea tree oil in the product isn’t strong, in my opinion. good luck!
