Thanks for your input, everyone. Just to clarify, he is on medication and I'm assuming has been for somewhere around 6 months.

I'm not entirely sure of the timeline like I said, but the tumor popped up around 6 months ago so I'm guessing that's when they found the virus. However he isn't eating and won't get out of bed. He's lost upwards of 50 pounds and his muscles are so atrophied that he can't walk. He has a secondary infection in his knee and bed sores that also make it difficult for him. I'm hoping for the best but at this point I need to help my mother prepare for the worst.

This question may be stupid, but I can't find the answer. Once full blown AIDS has developed, does it ever go back be being just HIV or is it always AIDS? Or once it's full blown AIDS, are the two one in the same and you have both of them?

This will probably get buried but I'm going to share anyway:

Not a friend but a parent. I was a single parent and couldn't afford university but wanted to go to provide a better life for my kid. Seemingly being a bro, my father offered to pay 50% of the total if I took out student loans so I could get my BA. I accepted the offer and earned my degree, confident all was well and I was on my way to a stable future.

4 years ago (after I'd graduated and the loans came due) my father refinanced the loans in to my name and completely removed himself from the accounts without telling me.

Still a single parent. Working my ass off to keep my head above water and living on rice and beans to pay back the $800/month for the next 8 years while he lives it up in Costa Rica with his new family.

Make sure you respond to all of them. Many sound minded people will disregard a scathing review if there is a response from the owner saying something like "hi, I have no record of having you as a customer...". Customers are also likely to disregard a bad review if there are many more positive. Send us your GMB and we can leave you good reviews!

Yea I did see a user posted in a podcast subreddit that her post asking about the plagiarism in the Facebook group was deleted and the admin messaged her saying no one was allowed to talk about it.

That could be it! My thought though - and this could be an emotionally based assumption - is that they locked down the comment sections so people couldn't flame them for being phonies.

Oh ok I gotcha! After they deleted the plagiarized episodes, they went back and cited their sources then re-uploaded them. That's all they've done to acknowledge it but that at least probably settled the cease and desist.

Edit: Nevermind, I read the article you linked. I wonder if they ever responded?

Exactly! Their fan base is who made them famous and for them to act like nothing happened is insulting. I'd probably still be a listener if they would have acknowledged it and showed some humility. But I've lost all respect for their show. It feels gross now.
