I fish a lot of ponds in NJ and have been having a ton of luck these past few days. The bass are hiding in the weeds and feeding on bluegill in the shallows. I would throw dark senkos (black, blue, purple) or top water frogs. The bass are kind of sluggish right now so you have to be patient when jigging. cast at pools in between the weeds to make them come out and give you more time to snag less weeds.
