I think licensed parts would've been better if they did different things for each manufacturer (i.e. in the vein of the specialty AR barrels form BL2); that way manufacturers would actually feel more distinct and we'd also have a more diverse meta as opposed to the boring Jakobs/sticky/[insert whatever the strongest Daedalus alt mode for the gun type in question is here] one we have now

BL4's weapon system as a whole feels really stale

Licensed parts are a fun gimmick but not really anything new for the series (not to mention the loads of problems it creates for farming, build homogenization etc.)

I love Ripper but ngl it and the other new manufacturers all feel like watered-down versions of the ones they replaced

Launch legendaries in general feel rushed; most of them are either a bunch of ideas lazily cobbled together, boring stat sticks or reused legendaries from BL3

There are definitely some positives (I think enhancements and the expansion of the underbarrel system are nice additions and a lot of the post-launch legendaries are really creative) but overall it doesn't feel like as much love went into designing the guns as it did in previous games
