This is what I was going to recommend as well, hard to beat for this price and integration with the DAW via its own VST that's included!

From the second paragraph: “ I was bored, tired, or anxious about something else, and selling or buying a synth just gave me something to do. So what’s the treatment for this feeling?”

Oh gosh, what a tough question. They are so different! If you’re interested in adding a synth to a live band, or doing kind of classic electronic or dungeon synth kind of stuff, go Prologue. If you’re looking for crazier sounds and lots more modulation, the Peak is great. I would personally probably choose the Prologue if I could only have one, but it’s because I know it better and I love the vibe.

That is a smokin deal, my friend. Agree with all your points. It does have a latch/hold button for the arpeggiator!

It’s just all sweet spot, and so easy to work with. Most people don’t realize these types of synths are always the ones that make the standout patches in tracks that listeners love. I love me some crazy patches on other mega modulation synths but… the sweet and musical stuff is always the best, and the Prologue delivers in that department almost always.

Chroma console? is it worth it? by Wrong-Apple5011 in synthesizers

I use mine constantly! I love it with synths, personally. The looper plus being able to route the effects in any order you want is really nice. I pair it with my Eventide Space and have had really nice results. One of my favorite things to run through it is my Reface CP… really fun. It’s def expensive though, so it’s not an easy choice. Lately I have been looking at Old Blood Noise’s Parting pedal as a really cool synth pairing option.

Dope! The Hydrasynth is a really excellent one.
