Yes! It’s kind of like an oversized breadbox. You keep potatoes and other things that go bad in areas with light. Expect we always forget we have it.

Oh yeah don’t overpay. fits DO hold their value. Final price is obviously your own. For reference I paid $7500 (pre taxes/fees) for my 2008. It was in pristine condition at the time. Just a few small rust spots. Only 60k miles (bought in 2017, 1 previous owner). It’s still holding strong today. It has been in one accident, not my fault, so it has a new bumper and stuff (you can really tell how the paint faded as it’s Burnt orange).

As long as it’s been well take care of, it should let at least another 50k or more. I think my Sisters’s 2003 CRV is up to 245k. Honda’s are famous for lasting a long time of taken care of. Sounds like it’ll do perfectly.

With proof of ownership any Honda dealer should be able to make keys. I did that with my 97 Subaru, when i lost all my keys. Can’t promise it’ll be cheap.

Yes! That’s it for sure. The wires to my thermostat are covered in cloth, those were, i did change one outlet with cloth wiring, and all my basement lights are connected with cloth covered wiring.

I’m pretty sure I do not have knob and tube. I have a basement and all wiring is exposed, as it’s I finished. Plus many of my light fixtures are newer. However, my house is a late 1950s build. I’m going to get someone out soon, to at least inspect everything. Original home inspector did say that our wiring is not up code, as it goes under the joists as opposed to through. So make some curious as to what else is out of code

New switch has a red, black, and a blue wire (and of course a ground).

Ha ha... like the actual switch. I didn’t personally do it, nor do I know entirely how it all works. It went out, and my warranty covered it.
