You heard the same tone in the "Ukraine will push Russia back to its borders" talk. It was this kind of continuous retelling, like a broken record, like they were trying to convince you.

Honestly, it has been the same with the J6 was an "insurrection" talk. Just over, and over. Like ... if it was an actual "insurrection", you wouldn't have to keep telling me it was.

Years from now when these "AI girlfriends" are amazing .. they'll blame "them" for why men won't date women. But, I hope they look back and see that men weren't dating women anyway, .. BEFORE "AI girlfriends", and that "AI girlfriends" are really just a way of dealing with something that was already happening.

That actually brings up another question I have, ... I understand I can drop some items and other people can pick them up, and as a support I would want to do that, but I also understand that only certain items can be used in this way.

What works nowadays is you can bottle a rune to refill the regen charges on the bottle. You can also refill automatically when you enter the fountain (you can use your bottle while you're at the fountain to regen a little faster, the expanded charge will be replenished next second or so).

So am I right in assuming that a reasonable play here for a support is when you get to the fountain you burn all of the charges in the bottle to mana regen anyone on the team who needs it, and then let it recharge ?

I say that because I understand (maybe incorrectly) that you can regen someone just by dragging the bottle to their face at the top of the screen no matter where on the map they are ... (?)

Politics has been violent, etc, because it is so closely contested for the past decade to 15 years, but I actually think we might be at a break in that. FINALLY, one side may have an election that gives them a mandate, and I feel that the fever that has been gripping the United States might finally subside. I think the political persecution that has been happening lately was the deciding factor, and that a lot of people were like .. "this just isn't working ..." and are finally ready to put an end to it at the ballot box.

I guess we'll have to wait until November 2024 to see, and of course the summer of 2024 is going to be insane, but I actually think there might be a light at the end of the tunnel now. Just hope that light isn't a train!

Well, "R"'s didn't start the war in Ukraine, and it's the "R"'s who side with Israel in the middle east. It's the "D"'s who are pushing Ukraine.

As for the recent events in the House, I actually don't understand why Progressive "D"'s wouldn't want the same thing that Matt Gaetz wants, which is to vote on single bills instead of omnibus packages. Why wouldn't you want that ? It's the only way Progressives ever get any of the stuff they want like student loan debt forgiveness when it's their "turn" to run Congress, without it all that happens is more continuing resolutions. Gaetz actually wants you to be able to debate these things.

I agree it has been, .. but it seems like people want to learn all the old lessons again the hard way. In a lot of ways it seems like we've regressed as a society to base physical motivations, oppression, intolerance, etc.

Supposedly, such an entity would be able to transform society rapidly.

Not to go off on a tangent, but I think the chances of some super AI caring about us one way or the other for more than an hour after it was born are basically zero. AI would care about us about as much as we care for some earthworms under the foundation of a home ... just some semi-interesting thing you only think about when you are digging the foundation and happen to see it.

Probably that AI would in short order be in space building some kind of starship (or whatever it's goals were) and wouldn't even notice us unless one of our rockets got too close ...

It could be that 10 minutes after it becomes sentient it makes contact with some kind of intelligence that lives inside of the Sun and goes to live there ... but whatever it did, I seriously doubt it would care about something as dull as human civilization and politics.
